Game Design

I've taught classes in a general approach to build navigable worlds in the game engines Unreal and Unity.

Over the semester, students are introduced to basic concepts in 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, etc. and how these apply within the game engine. Some basic interactivity is handled with simple scripting.

More importantly, students are pushed to consider these tools towards their work in other fields, such as for motion graphics, architectural visualization, virtual reality, narrative film, etc..
